Ladderly Privacy Policy

Overview

Ladderly is an iOS word puzzle game from Cold Harbor Studio LLC (“Cold Harbor Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The app does not require an account. You can play daily puzzles and practice puzzles without signing in.

Information Ladderly collects

Ladderly is designed to collect as little information as practical for gameplay. The app does not require an account and does not directly collect your name, email address, or contact information through gameplay.

Ladderly stores gameplay information such as puzzle progress, hint usage, streaks, stats, settings, daily history, and results locally on your device so the game can work properly.

Advertising and purchase features involve third-party services that may process additional information under their own policies.

Gameplay data stored on your device

Gameplay progress, results, streaks, stats, daily history, and app preferences may be stored locally on your device. This helps Ladderly remember your progress and show your history without requiring an account.

If you delete Ladderly from your device, locally stored gameplay progress, streaks, stats, and history may be deleted. Purchases such as Ladderly Plus can be restored through the App Store.

Advertising

Ladderly uses Google Mobile Ads to show ads. Rewarded ads may be offered for extra hints, and occasional ads may appear after practice rounds. Ads are not shown during active puzzle solving.

Google Mobile Ads may collect and process information such as device identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and other data as described by Google's policies and the Google Mobile Ads SDK disclosures. This information may be used for advertising, fraud prevention, analytics, and service operation. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

In-app purchases

Ladderly offers an optional one-time purchase called Ladderly Plus. Ladderly Plus removes ads and unlocks unlimited hints. Payments and purchase restoration are processed by Apple through the App Store. Cold Harbor Studio does not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

Third-party services

Ladderly may use third-party services, including Google Mobile Ads for advertising and Apple services for App Store purchases. These services may collect information as described in their own privacy policies and platform terms.

Children's privacy

Ladderly is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or related support channels, please contact us so we can review the request.

Data retention

Gameplay data stored locally on your device generally remains there until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall Ladderly.

If you delete Ladderly from your device, locally stored gameplay progress, streaks, stats, and history may be deleted. Purchases such as Ladderly Plus can be restored through the App Store.

Data processed by third-party services is retained according to those services' policies.
