FreezerFiles Privacy Policy

Introduction

FreezerFiles is an iOS app from Cold Harbor Studio LLC (“Cold Harbor Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the FreezerFiles app handles information when you use it.

Summary

• No separate FreezerFiles account is required.
• Freezer inventory and app data is stored on your device and eligible records sync through Apple’s iCloud services.
• Household sharing uses Apple’s iCloud sharing services.
• Optional FreezerFiles Plus purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Freezer inventory and app data

FreezerFiles may store information such as:

• household and freezer names
• food names, categories, quantities, units, frozen dates, weights, and notes
• food batches, inventory history, and recently used foods
• active household and freezer selections
• app preferences and synchronization state

This information is used to provide inventory, history, Quick Add, multiple-freezer, synchronization, and sharing features. FreezerFiles stores app data locally and synchronizes eligible records using your iCloud account when iCloud is available.

iCloud sync and household sharing

FreezerFiles uses Apple’s iCloud services to keep eligible data available across supported devices. If you choose household sharing, Apple’s sharing services manage invitations and access for the people you invite. Cold Harbor Studio does not operate a separate FreezerFiles account system or inventory server.

Synchronization and sharing depend on your iCloud account, device settings, network connection, and Apple’s services. Changes or deletions to synchronized data may appear on other devices or for household participants with access.

Purchases

FreezerFiles offers an optional one-time FreezerFiles Plus purchase. Purchases and restoration are processed by Apple through the App Store. Cold Harbor Studio does not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple provides purchase status so the app can unlock or restore purchased features.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

FreezerFiles does not show advertising and does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. The app does not request permission to track you across apps or websites.

Support communications

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, and any diagnostics you include. FreezerFiles’ Copy Diagnostics report is designed to omit household and freezer names, food details, share links, and iCloud account identity.

Your choices

You can:

• choose whether to use iCloud and household sharing
• manage sharing participants using Apple’s sharing controls
• edit or remove inventory in the app
• restore FreezerFiles Plus through the app
• delete the app to remove locally stored app data from that device

Data synchronized through iCloud may remain in iCloud or on other devices until it is deleted there. Apple handles iCloud and App Store information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
